Our Clinic's Ultrasound Department focuses on providing high quality diagnostic services through the use of ultrasound. It is equipped with the modern GE Versana Balance ultrasound machine that provides high-precision imaging and enables many different examinations to be performed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Specifically, in the Ultrasound Department, the following are carried out:<\/span><\/p>

Triplex of all vessels (arteries \u2013 veins)<\/span><\/p>

With the lower extremity vein-artery triplex, a diagnosis is made for stenosis or alteration in the veins and arteries of the lower extremities.<\/p>

It is an easy and simple procedure that serves both the prevention and diagnosis of venous insufficiency, as well as arterial strictures and thrombosis.

<\/p>

Ultrasounds of superficial soft tissues, joints<\/span><\/p>

In this examination, gel is placed in the area, allowing the examination of a palpable formation located in a superficial position and outside the joints.<\/p>

Thus, the diagnosis for the type of morphoma is reliable and the doctor gathers useful information about this pathology.

<\/p>

Endovaginal ultrasounds of internal genital organs<\/span><\/p>

This examination includes the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vagina and fallopian tubes. The examination is carried out with an empty bladder while imaging the organs with great clarity and reliability, in order to make a correct diagnosis as well as a preventive check.<\/p>

This examination can be done for preventive reasons, to check the pelvis and abdomen, but also in cases of vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, to check for cysts or fibroids.<\/p>


Abdominal ultrasound<\/span><\/p>

It is used for the thorough imaging examination of organs such as the liver, spleen, gall bladder, kidneys and pancreas.<\/p>


Ultrasound of the thyroid gland<\/span><\/p>

In the thyroid gland, nodules are cysts that need to be checked regularly so that the doctor examines its consistency, size, location or boundaries.<\/p>

In this way, the orderly functioning of the organism is ensured and the possibility of malignancy is excluded.<\/p>


Ultrasound of the scrotum<\/span><\/p>

For the prevention and diagnosis of pathology concerning the scrotum, testicles and epididymis, high-frequency sound waves are used with excellent imaging clarity.<\/p>


Breast ultrasound<\/span><\/p>

It is an extremely simple and painless test that saves and prevents. During the breast ultrasound, a doctor places a special gel in the breast area and checks the health of the breasts through the monitor.<\/p>


FNA biopsies of soft tissue, viscera, breast, prostate, and drainage of effusions<\/span><\/p>

In our clinic we perform fine needle aspiration (FNA Biopsies) for the most thorough and accurate examination of the soft tissues, viscera, breast, prostate.<\/p>
